How does it work?
Just pick the classes you want by clicking Add To Cart. Then go to the Cart to check out. Once you’ve checked out, go to My Courses. Then click “My Courses” in the top menu, and on the page that opens, you’ll see your selected courses. Just click on a course and go!
Each course will have a series of videos and quizzes. Start the 1st video and it will play on your screen. When it’s finished playing, you’ll see a quiz. Answer the questions correctly and you’ll move on to the next video, then the next quiz, etc., until you’re finished with the course. Once you’ve completed the course, you will be able to create and print your Certificate of Completion on the spot, which proves your attendance to the Board.
Are your courses considered Formal or Category 1? Are they approved by my State Board?
All classes are Board-Approved as “Category 1” or “Formal” hours, the same as our previous in-person classes. On each course, we list which boards have approved our classes.
How long do I have to finish the course?
Generally speaking, you have a year to finish a course once it’s purchased. Many State Boards require that once a year, we review and update our courses. Doing so makes them essentially a “new course”, which would replace the course you purchased. However, if for some reason a year has passed and you haven’t finished the course, just contact us and we’ll re-enable the course for you.
PLEASE NOTE: In the eyes of All State Boards, when you purchased a course is irrelevant. When you FINISH the course determines when you can count it for Continuing Education Credit to renew your license.
For example, let’s say you’re in Missouri, where the cutoff date for getting your Continuing Education Credit is February 28th of Odd Number years. On February 21st, you purchase a 4 hour X-Ray class and a 4 hour Diagnosis class. You finish the X-ray class on February 26th, but you procrastinate and don’t finish the Diagnosis class until March 3rd. The State Board would allow you to count the 4 hours of X-ray for Continuing Education Credit for the license renewal cycle ending on February 28th, but you would have to count the 4 hours of Diagnosis for the NEXT renewal cycle starting March 1st.
Also, purchasing a class allows you to complete a class one time. Your Certificate of Completion will show the date the class was completed. So if you complete a class now, but you have a second license in a state where you already have enough hours for this year, but their cycle starts over in a few weeks, there is no “re-dating” your certificate. In the eyes of the State Board, that would be Fraud. The only way to re-date your certificate would be to take the class over, which would require you to purchase the class again and re-take it.
Can I Start and Stop the Course?
Sure. That’s the beauty of On-Demand Online Continuing Education. You can start the course when it’s convenient for you at the end of any section (video or quiz). If you need to stop, just stop when you’ve finished a section or quiz, and when you restart, the course will pick up right where you left off.

How many hours of Continuing Education do I need?
Please go to the menu bar at the top and click “State CE Requirements” to see our pages for Continuing Education Requirements by State, or go to your State Board’s Website.
How many times can I count a class for Continuing Education?
If you take a class that is approved in more than one state in which you have a license, you may use it in as many states as you wish, so long as you remember these rules:
1. No state allows credit for the same course during the same renewal cycle, ie, Taking a 4 hour class twice doesn’t allow you to count it for 8 hours in the same renewal cycle.
2. States look at the Date of Completion to determine in what renewal cycle a class may be counted. Please see the question “How long do I have to finish the course?” above for an explanation.
3. When you purchase a class, it entitles you to complete the class one time. If the date of completion falls outside of the renewal cycle for a state, the only way to count it would be to purchase the class again and retake it. Please see the question “How long do I have to finish the course?” above for an explanation.
