I felt that the first signs would have been seen during the radiographic imagines, then a follow up of CT or MRI. I thought Osteopenia is more closely related to osteoporosis, on radiographs the bones look less dense and a DDX would need to be followed with CT and/or MRI to determine which the course of treatment is needed.
